Croma is The Best Family Friendly Restaurant in Manchester

Located next to the Manchester Town Hall, Croma Italian Restaurant, 1-3 Clarence Street, Albert Square, Manchester, M2 4DE is a refined dining experience for all the family. The entrance to Croma in the city centre of Manchester is uplifting and very beautiful. The tall palm plants and white interior exudes freshness and has been designed to a high specification. This Italian restaurant is spread over three storeys and the height of the ceiling and glass balcony which wraps the building is ultra chic and captivating. It is a pleasure to be in an establishment which is so exquisite yet minimal in its approach of colour and ornaments. Visiting Croma allows a feeling of relaxation and calm. The tables are draped in fresh crisp linen matching dazzling white napkins and a simple vase with one beautiful flower. No business in this restaurant it simply whispers “rest and enjoy”.

Croma is perfect for all the family, parents, children, grandparents, aunties uncles cousins and familiar friends. The service is calm and organised with well dressed waitresses attentive at all times. Children of a certain age are immediately presented with crayons, colouring books containing crosswords and an array of fun entertaining puzzles which allows the adults to choose quietly at their leisure the cuisine presented on their clean concise menu and all it has to offer.

The staff are trained well and are also very friendly but not too much and return several times during your meal to ensure your table is ship shape and dandy and you have all you require. An unexpected delight in ordering wine is the lovely touch of a carafe which is seldom seen in restaurants so family friendly. Cocktails are on offer alongside the many Italian beers served in sparkling clean cool tall glasses. The aroma of freshly made bread and coffee is heaven scent and awakes the anticipated food on order.

The menu has a super selection thin-based pizzas and garlic breads and tasty creamy pastas including a good selection of vegetarian options for those herbivores patrons; the menu also includes all of the old favourites such as lasagne you would expect to see and a few that are perhaps a little more original. The food is quick to be served and arrives looking exceptionally appetising and smelling simply delicious. It is well-cooked, well-presented and fresh. What more could a family affair expect? Everyone is catered for and looked after from start to finish.

The desserts are so incredibly desirable. Should you care to indulge in an Eton mess or perhaps a banoffee mess? A huge helping of creamy ice-cream or a truly tempting treacle tart? The list is extensive and you could not be blamed for attempting to try every single sweet dish on offer here at Croma. When coffee is ordered children are not forgotten and this is a winning attribute of Croma as they enjoy joining the adults in sipping mini cappuccinos and petite hot chocolate drinks. A wonderful touch and a very family approach which is witnessed by all the grown ups at the table. Smiles all round.

Altogether, this is a very family friendly establishment to visit in a great location which is car park accessible and so convenient. Good food, excellent service and magnificent modern décor and is essential for that outing with all the members of the family.
